All In Update

ALL-IN_header

All-IN-GraphicsIt was just a year ago that our church entered into a two-year journey of giving that we call ALL IN. Our aim is to commit to a new level of giving that will enable us to maintain current levels of ministry, significantly reduce debt, and invest in strategic new ministry opportunities as God leads the way. At the one year mark of our ALL IN giving, the news is encouraging! See the infographics on the left.

We hear stories every week of how lives are being changed in and around our community. God is using our people and ministries like ALPHA, support groups, and the teaching of His Word to change hearts and lives.

A very significant result of this strong giving, beyond the support of existing ministries, is that we have been able to make a huge dent in our debt. We still have a long way to go, but this is a big step.

“ALL IN has helped unify the church toward glorifying God with our giving. ALL IN has changed my perspective on giving and keeping. All of it is God’s money, and I need to be concerned about not just what I am ‘giving’ but what I am ‘keeping’ for myself.”

— A recent comment about ALL IN

ALL IN giving has also made it possible for Wheaton Bible Church to step into expanded ministry—as God has opened doors. Puente del Pueblo, our outreach to serve the 2,000 residents of the Timber Lakes apartments in West Chicago—is now operating sites in two additional complexes. In the after-school program, more elementary classrooms are open, and a now there’s a program for middle school students too.

God is also working through our MOVE outreach to North African immigrants in Europe and through our HOPE [KENYA] initiative in Nakuru and Turkana. Those strategic ministries—as well as the nearly 100 missionary households we support all around the globe—are bearing fruit for the Kingdom! Thank you for your faithful giving! Please join me in prayerful anticipation of what God will do in us and through us as we move into ALL IN Year Two.
